I was in the military for 9 years and I cannot say I regret it. There are of course aspects that I miss about it, but there are many things I will never get back. For example, the comradery that we all had can never be matched on the outside. We all looked out for each other, especially during Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom. We made damn sure that we were all safe and when things happened, we went into survival mode. But survival mode doesnt mean that you look out for yourself first. You look out for each other because for every man you lose, that is one more man that can't sent rounds downrange.

For those of you that do not support this war (including myself), please support your troops. We did what we had to do, because if we didn't, we would be wrong. We all take an oath to defend freedom and the Constitution, and that's what I did. I defended this nation. Hopefully you were all grateful when I was in and I can definitely say that I am grateful now. My family and I support you all 100% and want each and every one of you to come home safe.
